Percept Design's approach to the Huahao Group Jinyu project was to create a space that embodied City•Life•Art. The design is a harmonious blend of sharp lines and curves, rectangles and columns, cold and warm tones, and masculine and feminine elements. This blend of elements results in a space that is both inclusive and free. The entrance, designed to mimic an art gallery, reduces the commercial atmosphere and delivers elegance and delicacy.
The design was realized through a careful selection of materials and colors to describe life. The designer aimed to create a space where people could seek the essence of their heart and life within a small space. The entrance sculpture, inspired by books, symbolizes the ladder of human progress and the spread of cultural beauty.
The project, spanning about 1218 square meters, was completed between May and September 2019. The design team, led by Mr. HuGuiHua, faced several challenges during this period. One of the main challenges was to create a space that allowed for conversations between the space and the visitors. To achieve this, they partially abandoned decorative materials and used environment-friendly art paints to purify the space sense and lower the consumption of natural resources.
Despite the challenges, the design team was able to create a space that balanced mood and story through the use of different materials. The winding stair, constructed in geometry, creates a sense of surrealism and serves as the pivot to the second-floor space. The overall aesthetic creation reveals the designer's aesthetic accomplishment.
The Huahao Group Jinyu project by Percept Design was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. This prestigious award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
